Third and fourth graders are enthusiastic, energetic, and eager to learn.
They become serious about themselves, are interested in clubs, teams, and group play. They have a strong sense of justice and are sensitive to ridicule, failure, and loss of prestige. During their third and fourth grade year, students are challenged to become independent, responsible, critical thinkers. They will learn new skills this year. In addition, the curriculum is designed to help them integrate the previously learned skills with more sophisticated applications.
